Federal Work-Study is awarded to financially needy, on-time aid applicants as determined by information submitted on the FAFSA. Our Student Work Initiative program is a UMF program for students who were not awarded Federal Work-Study and still wish to work.

Some jobs are on-campus, some are off-campus. Some require heavy lifting (campus Fitness & Recreation Center). Some require heavy thinking (environmental research or tutoring). Some involve high creativity (web design or photography). Some high patience (working with children). But no matter what job you take, you’ll gain valuable resume-building experience that will pay off now and pay off later on.
